December 19, 2024 I dropped my truck off at the dealership. January 2025 they finally contact me that they found issue one and I need a new transmission. But because they charge too much warranty found a different one and paid for it instead. On to issue two, they actually find the issue. My struts are bad and causing damage to the strut mount. But because they are planning to dismantle the strut and only replace the internal components which is a shock, the replacement is not covered. Warranty tells me it is but the dealership tells me it is not. The dealership also says that it's just a noise and not technically bad. So they want to charge me $1500. I told them I'll pick up my truck since they've had it long enough and not willing to handle it and I'm not paying them the ridiculous amount. But I requested copies of all the paperwork not just what they normally give me which is the part they put in the system. Told them warranty told me to obtain it. Tell me why the paperwork says the "shock" is locked causing damage to the strut mount. So not just noise, actually not functioning. So I go out to get my vehicle and go home, I'll take it elsewhere later. Why is my license plate bent in half? That's not how I brought it to them. There's white stuff all over the steering wheel and seat. The truck now needs an alignment that it did not need when I took it in. And.....it's completely out of gas. While they had it, they put 88 miles on it which wouldn't have used that much gas but they literally used all the gas and would have kept driving it till it died which is bad for the fuel pump. Only reason I keep going there is because I pay nothing for all warrantied repairs. But this place is horrendous with their customer service and they do not take care of their customers vehicles. They just keep them for months and try to find ways to get money from you. Well it's not going to work with me. And this is how it is, every single time I bring my vehicle in. It's there so long they have to create a new RO# just for work not to get done and the vehicle to come back in worse condition.

If there are delays in service or repairs. Communicate those delays and make sure the customer is in the loop on why there are delays and how long those delays will be.

The advisor was very attentive and helpful and got me in and out of there very quickly. I was surprised to see that the truck was not washed as part of the service and that the dealership is surcharging for the use of credit cards. That's something I expect from a small business, not a car dealership.

I went on a Saturday. I got there at 8, sat for about 5 minutes, talked to the service advisor for a few minutes, and was out by 9:15 after having my oil changed and tires rotated. Rob is an excellent service advisor. He isn't pushy at all. He gives you your options and any necessary options/info and lets you make your decision in peace. I'll definitely be back.

The service guys were great but the problem with the software or connectivity to my phone and contacts was not resolved. My '17 model functioned almost flawlessly with those connections but this one has been a fail. I haven't had time to evaluate whether it's any better since spending the afternoon there, but it's not performing up to expectations based on experience with my '17 model.

I can't say it enough, but Rob is fantastic! I drive past multiple dealerships to come and drop off my car at this location. I was there for a LONG 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. When my keys were given to me I could not find my car and had to go back inside to have someone go pull it around from the back of the building. Then the gentleman that pulled it around advised me my tire was bad and was not safe(had no idea as tires were rotated and it must have been on passenger side before), my advisor did not mention anything to me about my tires. Then I noticed the sticker wasn't changed so I don't know when my next oil change is. The fact that there was clearly a safety concern with my tire and it was not brought to my attention by my "advisor" is very concerning. What else is going on with my car that I should be aware of? I have lost trust in Classic Buick and will be taking my business to Gateway Buick going forward.
